This event is an evocation of the historic and unrivalled "Mille Miglia" car race which ran across Italy when it started in 1927 and was defined as "the most beautiful car race in the world" by Enzo Ferrari.
Participating in the race then were the best brand names in car racing and the best race drivers in the world. This was synonymous with a challenge against time, limits of technical capabilities and the ability and resistance of a man. The cars and the competition also came to be identified with adventures, emotions and discoveries.

The modern "Mille Miglia" historic car race which started in 1982 is a competition among the most beautiful cars in the world dating back to historic times. It is a tough competition but at the same time, a parade of historic cars of inestimable values which are all available for vision only on this occasion. Three hundred and seventy five cars, all built between the 1920s and the 1950s, and which its past models had participated in at least one previous edition of this race, will participate. Divided into seven historical periods, they submit to runs for classifications by speed and precision along race tracks, from Brescia to Rome via Ferrara, Urbino, San Marino, passing through Tuscany to return to Brescia – all in 31 hours of racing.
You could enjoy a close up view of this caravan that is so unique in the whole world with us; basically a travelling museum that is more than one kilometre long. Have a taste of the atmosphere of a great party that have always accompanied this event, a fascinating event full of enthusiasm, competitive spirit but also of fun and tourism. 1st Day

Morning/early afternoon arrival at Milan Malpensa or Brescia or Verona airport and then a meeting with our Tour Leader. Afterwards, board our deluxe minibus for a transfer to your hotel located in Brescia area noted for plush residences along Lake d’ Iseo, in the Franciacorta area or Lake Garda.
Franciacorta is a beautiful area facing lake d’Iseo which is famous for its gentle hills covered with vineyards and produces some of Italy’s best wines, especially white wines and sparking wines, aged in kilometres long underground cellars.
Following your arrival schedule, there will a stop en route for lunch or a snack and wine tasting. On arrival at the hotel, check into the reserved rooms and enjoy your leisure.

Afternoon
In the afternoon, there will be a tour of the Franciacorta district with a visit to one of the best wineries and to its kilometres-long underground wine cellars where you will learn all the secrets of its excellent sparkling wine. Wine tasting will follow.
Welcome dinner in a Michelin award winning, elegant restaurant.
Overnight stay in the hotel.

2nd Day

Brescia area. Breakfast in the hotel and then a transfer to Brescia. Day spent in Brescia to assist in the preparation for the race, sealing ceremony and cars presentation and "Mille Miglia" departure.
The ancient town of Brescia, the Roman Brixia, retains the original street plan of the Roman castrum ( fort) and is dominated by an ancient castle. It has a rich artistic heritage, ranging from Roman temples to the triumphant Mussolini-era architecture at its main square, Piazza Vittoriale. It is one of the richest towns in Italy. On arrival, there will be a guided visit of this ancient town, including "Piazza della Loggia", where a market is held and "Piazza Paolo VI" where Milla Miglia cars are blessed before racing begins. A Visit to the extremely interesting Museum of the legendary Mille Miglia located inside the Monastery of Saint Eufemia, a complex of immense archaeological, historical and architectural value, will follow. This museum also hosts private collectors cars that participate in the race.
Lunch, featuring typical cuisine will take place in the Taverna Milla Miglia.

Afternoon: The afternoon will witness the selection of the teams, assignment of cars and event numbers to the participants, technical checks, distribution of the road-books and gifts. Then participant will depart for the first leg of the rally: Brescia – Ferrara, Via Desenzano , Solferino, Verona, Ostiglia before arriving in Ferrara.

Evening
Arrival in Ferrara and placement of the cars in a parking lots.
A guided walking tour of Ferrara will follow, with stops for a sip of wine in the ancient Osteria.
Ferrara, still relatively "undiscovered", is one of region’s greatest walled town. Thanks to political and economic ability of the d’Este family who has dominated the city since the 13th century, it was once one of the richest and most powerful cities in Italy. Much of d’Este legacy is still intact and among the historic treasures remaining are a great cathedral and the Este Castle along with number of ducal palazzos.
Dinner in a typical, de charme restaurant.
Overnight stay in the hotel.


3rd Day

Ferrara. . Breakfast in the hotel and then departure for the "Ferrara – Roma" leg, driving through Ravenna, Gambettola, San Marino, Urbino ( stop for lunch), Gubbio, Spoleto, Terminillo mountain and Rieti. On arrival in Roma, park your cars and check into the hotel.

Evening:
A short panoramic city tour and a stop for an aperitif on a terrace with a breathtaking view over the city.
Dinner will be in an elegant, de charme restaurant. Overnight stay in Rome.


 

4th Day

Rome. Breakfast in the hotel and then departure for the third leg : Rome – Brescia, driving via Viterbo, Pienza, Buonconvento ( lunch stop), Siena, Florence, Monghidoro, Maranello, Modena Reggio Emilia and Cremona.

Evening:
Late evening arrival at the hotel and checking into the reserved rooms.
Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.


5th Day

Brescia area. Breakfast in the hotel and then enjoy your morning leisure.
Lunch in an elegant, de charme restaurant with the Award ceremony at the end.

Afternoon transfer to Milan airport.
On arrival, check in for your flight home and depart.
End of services.







NB. There will be runs along the race tracks to determine classification by speed and precision and eventually designate the winners.
Some special Meet & Greet the locals events in the locality participants will be passing through are also planned.

The above programme can be extended by more days in case a " slow drive" is preferred, adding one or two overnights en route to Rome or while driving from Rome to Brescia. It is also possible to organize a shorter programme, driving only part of the above itinerary.
