GALLERIA BORGHESE (BORGHESE GALLERY)
In the recently and splendidly restored villa (1613-14) Cardinal Scipione Borghese collected paintings and sculptures, both ancient and of his times, creating an extraordinary collection with masterpieces by Bernini, Canova, Tiziano, Rubens and others.

This formerly noble palace offers a great collection of paintings by Tintoretto, Tiziano, Parmigianino, Guercino, Bernini, Correggio, Bassano, A. Carracci, G. Reni, Brueghel il Vecchio e Caravaggio. Hot find: portrait of Pope Innocenzo X by Velazquez.
