Agriturismo alla Madonna del Piatto
"Alla Madonna del Piatto" is a small agriturismo, a bed and breakfast inn in the Umbrian hills. The centuries-old farmhouse overlooks the beautiful town of Assisi. All rooms have a magnificent view of Assisi's world famous basilica, dedicated to St. Francis and housing some of Italy's most important art treasures.

A typical half a day class includes the following:
- Visit of a gourmet shop in the village of Santa Maria degli Angeli and tasting of a variety of locally produced cheeses and cold cuts (prosciutto, wild bore sausages, capocollo, etc...). Here you will learn the basics about traditional foods and ingredients of the Umbria region and the parameters to buy good quality gourmet souvenirs.
- preparation of a meal of traditional and family dishes interpreted to suit modern life (light and easy to reproduce when you go back home with ingredients you can find in your country)
- the meal with 1/2 bottle of good local wine per person participating to the class and a home made digestive
-scripts in English with the recipes.

Il Parco Fiorito
In an ancient sixteenth century convent, nestled on a green farm surrounded by woods, fields and pastures, just six kilometers from Cortona and at the center of the "Golden triangle of culture" created by Perugia Arezzo and Siena, the Relais Parco Fiorito holiday farm, on the Umbria - Tuscany border, is the ideal solution for tourists who want to spend their vacation in a homey and authentic atmosphere enhanced by all the most modern comforts and services.
One day cooking class
Classes are taught by Claudia, Giuseppe and Roberto Russo, the family that has always managed and lived on the holiday farm, driven by their desire to share the traditional local cuisine of Umbria and Tuscany with their guests.
A great way to spend time, get to know one another and sample the fresh ingredients in season, grown on the Relais Parco Fiorito organic farm and certified by AIAB, the Italian Organic Agricultural Association.
The classes will teach you to prepare local meals and dishes such as pici, panzanella, tegamaccio, tozzetti, torcoli etc., and learn about the local wines (Chianti, Montepulciano, Sagrantino, Brunello, Vino Nobile etc.). At the end of the lesson, everybody dines together!

Agriturismo la Volpe e l'Uva
The farmhouse is located in the beautiful heart of the Umbria valley, sourronded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees.
Six independent apartments have been restored around the ancient stone house, which dates back to the 17th century.
The proximity to Perugia makes the holidays farm's position ideal for visiting other artistic towns in Umbria, such as Assisi, Gubbio, Todi, Orvieto and the Trasimeno lake. There is a lovely swimming pool from which you can enjoy the panoramic view.

Learn to cook authentic Italian dishes in an informal and friendly environment. A comprehensive hands-on cookery course given by a teacher who will teach you to make splendid Italian three course dinners covering all the basic Italian cooking techniques.
