Cooking group course with dinner An assistant will take you to a picturesque corner of the historical centre through a pleasant walk. You will live a different and involving experience combining food, art and culture. In an equipped kitchen of a characteristic Florentine home, guided by a skilled Chef you will be taught how to prepare a full typical Tuscan menu and to match wines in about 2 and 1/2 hours. Guided group Wine Tasting
A pleasant afternoon in a typical and cosy wine shop in the company of an oil and wine expert in order to learn tasting techniques. Brief historical introduction to the wine and Chianti, outline of working in vineyards and olive-yards, wine making and cellars, oil pressing techniques and use of glasses according to wines. Tasting of four prestigious wines and of extra virgin olive oil, made by selected Tuscan producers. The sensorial analysis follows through visual, olfactory and tasting exam. The tasting will be served with Tuscan salami, canapés and bruschetta.

Cooking lesson in Chianti + visit to a winery- 8 hours You will enjoy a day in the Tuscan countryside, combining a cooking class with a visit to a winery. You will take a bus to Greve in Chianti. From there you will be escorted to Podere Le Rose, an evocative stone farmhouse in the hills of Chianti, surrounded by vineyard & olivegroves. The hands-on class covers traditional, home-style Tuscan and Italian recipes. You will prepare a complete meal (5 recipes - appetizers, a pasta dish, a vegetable or meat dish, a dessert) which will be served with a complementing wine. Accommodation can be in a double room (see pictures - no supplement for single use.) There are only 2 rooms at the school, with 2 bathrooms and 2 showers just outside the room, available only to the rooms occupants.
Other accommodations with in-room bathrooms can be arranged at nearby hotels, b&b, or farmhouses - please let us know your preference
These courses are designed for people who wish to take an intensive practical course in a relaxed atmosphere while staying in the beautiful city of Siena. You will learn how to prepare a host of versatile Italian dishes with confidence and will gain a greater understanding of how to select and use basic Italian ingredients such as olive oil and spices - skills which you will be able to use at home to impress friends and family alike! During each course clients are given a copy of all the recipes they prepare for future reference.
